There’s something I need to tell you. I’m addicted to podcasts.
I’ve been put on a “one-podcast-mention-per-day” diet by my husband. The same husband who says I have excellent taste in podcasts. #humblebrag
So here’s my share this week (and maybe the next 2 years): Loretta Ross with Adam Grant.
Loretta Ross is a human rights activist and inspiring speaker who knows what it takes to change minds… of white supremacists, racists, you name it. Hint: it’s not yelling at people on social media. But you already knew that. :)
In my (way too many years) of managing social media for a large organization, a handful times someone has said, “Oh, thank you; I feel differently about it now.” It was incredibly satisfying. You can do it, too. There are a few things to know, and Loretta Ross spells them out.
And if that doesn’t entice you to listen, here’s a quote from Ross:
“Fighting Nazis should be fun. Let them be the miserable ones.”
Please let me know what you think in the comments.
P.S. Podcast luddite? Ross also has a really great book that just came out.
